Ten Penny: Your Trendy Destination for American Breakfast & Brunch in Pittsburgh

This place has a great setting. The first drink we got was okay as the server lady didn’t make it well. However the next set of drinks were much better. The vibe is great, the Dj was awesome! Hence the 5 stars

Love going to Penn society after the club to see Matt the bartender. The atmosphere is great and he always makes me a fancy drink and keeps the vibes up. Everytime I go out I end up there to see him they always treat me great. Love Kelly and Lenny too they do a great job keeping everything in order. 10/10 have been coming here for years and will keep going! Always recommend them to people who ask where to go after hours.

Matt and Kelly always make this the best bar. Matt makes the BEST espresso martinis in the city. Kelly always makes sure everyone is tended to at the bar with care and quickness. This is my go to spot for anyone who asks where to visit because Lenny the head of security doesn’t allow foolishness so it’s a very safe and yet fun environment!! This has been and will always be the best place for a weekend cocktail!

I'm obsessed with this place and Kelly. We rented out the space for our tiny wedding reception. It was absolutely perfect. Kelly was quick to respond and incredibly helpful. I gave her my vision and she executed it perfectly. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Her drinks are AMAZING and the space is so romantic and comfy. The DJ was awesome and everyone was dancing. My husband has a big family with a lot of little kids, and the staff were incredibly sweet with the kids and handled them well. I definitely recommend renting out this space for any smaller event.

Good drinks, good env though I went at a slow time apparently. Wish the menu had prices just to be clear Google Maps says this place is on second floor but it's actually basement level, can't find a way to update it, thanks Google Maps haha

Stopped by before hitting up another spot. We were the first people in. Door guy was nice, bartenders were chill n cool. Easy to talk to. Made a tasty spring drink, something with the word passionate in it. I’d recommend. We are from Detroit and they told us the place doesn’t get busy until 1:45am. This is an after bars close kinda place. We didn’t have the will power to stay that long there. Got there at 9:30. Cool vibes down there though. Will be back next time we visit the city.

Cannot recommend Penn Society enough for a wedding reception. Kelly and Leonard were so relaxed to work with, were extremely organized, and made sure my husband and I’s reception was everything we wanted. The drinks were top notch, best cocktails in the city. The vibe is perfect, the food was excellent. Your guests will leave happy, and you’ll leave having paid a fraction of the cost of some of the bigger venues in the city for a more personalized event with better music, and better drinks by a MILE.
